In this tutorial we will guide you step-by-step on how to use Samsung galaxy s duos s7562 internet on pc. Here’s the complete detail.
Android Smart Phones have some amazing features one of them is Tethering, Samsung Galaxy S duos S7562 also has this feature along with quality screen and an amazing camera with NFC (near field communication) which is the latest technology in file sharing between devices. Tethering is basically used in that case when we want to share the internet of Smartphone with another phone or may be with laptop. Connection of the phones with other devices like tab, pc etc. can be done over wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth or through USB. But in this tutorial we will describe the method of accessing internet through USB tethering. If you will do tethering over Wi-Fi then that will be called a Mobile Hotspot.
Thus mobile device connected will be called a portable wireless access point. Tethering can be done in three ways one is by Bluetooth and the secondly by USB and at last by Wi-Fi Hotspot. Once you use Wi-Fi hotspot then other people will be able to connect with your Galaxy S duos but it has a limitation of maximum of 5 users can simultaneously connect to the Hotspot. To prevent unauthorized access to your net or hotspot you can set WPA-PSK password which is a Wi-Fi standard security protocol.
This tutorial is basically for HTC Samsung galaxy s duos s7562. Successful working of this procedure on any other device is still not confirmed. This tutorial’s application to any other device may produce some unwanted outcome. Applying this procedure of rooting android device we are not bounded if anything happens wrong to your device. Steps for using USB Tethering:
Connect your phone to your pc by USB cable and then follow steps given below.
Go to “Settings” of your device.
In the “Settings” select “Wireless and networks”.
Under the “Wireless and networks” you will see “Tethering and portable hotspot” select it.
At last select “USB tethering” option.
In case of Wi-Fi Hotspot Tethering
Follow steps 1 to 4 as given in USB tethering method.
Instead of selecting USB tethering, select “Portable WLAN hotspot”.
The connection you will establish here will be open and unsecure. So you have to enable security by tapping on “Configure portable Wi-Fi hotspot” after that you will be able to set password of setting your own SSID network or you may leave it default as “AndroidAP7711” then click on security tab under the Network SSID & choose option WPA2PSK in dropdown menu and put the password.
But keep one thing in mind that you must be having enough balance in your account (in case on prepaid account) for network access and also your APN must be configured properly to browser over 3 G connections. If you have accessed internet on your device before setting up these things then you will face negligible problems, but if not then check settings of mobile network and check Use Packed Data. Actually these settings will determine the capacity of your device to access the internet with proper APN configurations.
