Pre-requisite:

  1. Your mobile must be at least 70-80% charged.
  2. Enable the USB debugging mode (“Settings” -> “Manage Applications” -> “Development” -> “USB Debugging”)
  3. Make sure that you’ve backed up all of the necessary data.
  4. & last but not the least install drivers of Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 or you can download Samsung Kies.

Steps to expand internal memory of Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562

Step 1:

First, reboot your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 into Recovery Mode. In order to do this simply press Down Volume + Home button together, and while doing this press Power button at same time you pressed the above keys.

Step 2:

Now you are in Recovery Mode, just select “Factory Reset/ Wipe Data” option to delete all data and after deletion, check on “Wipe Cache Partition” in order to wipe off all of the cache memory of your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

Step 3:

Move in the “Advanced” settings & there check on “Wipe Dalvik Cache” to delete the “Dalvik Cache” from your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

Step 4:

Go back to main menu and then just reboot your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

Step 5:

Now, download the MiniTool Partition Wizard application to your PC and then install the application on it.

Step 6:

Now, from your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 remove memory card & insert it to your PC using card reader. Just not use the USB cable, because this app will not work normally through USB.

Step 7:

Just run above downloaded application on your PC.

Step 8:

Now, click on SD card & then right click on “Option”. Then click on “Delete” to complete delete data of SD card you have.

Step 9:

Again right click on “Option”. Then select “Create New”.

Step 10:

Now, choose file type “FAT32” & allocate space whatever you want to utilize on your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

Step 11:

Again apply same procedure that you used above and now, select “Create as: Primary” & change it to either Ext2 or Ext3 or Ext4 file system (we’ll recommend to use Ext2), to create new external partition. The space is going to be utilized to store the downloaded applications.

Step 12:

And finally, click on “Apply” to finish. After doing this you can insert the SD card you have, in your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

Step 13:

After doing this, download Link2SD file on your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 and install it on your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

Step 14:

And after the installation of Link2SD, run the application & follow given procedure.

  • Select ext2 and click OK.

  • Now click OK to restart your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

  • Now go to Settings.

  • Inside settings, see that whether the “Auto Link” & “Auto Link Notification” is checked or not, if not then check on it. And then Select Install location.

 

  • At last, click External & after that select Power off to switch off your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562.

 

Step 15:

And after completing this process, now you must select “reboot system now” to restart your Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 and it will be done.
