Now launch Odin 3.07 on your PC.
Now connect your Samsung Galaxy S to your PC using the USB cable came with your Samsung Galaxy S, when your Samsung Galaxy S is in Developer Mode.
Now wait till Odin detects your Samsung Galaxy S. Whenever the Samsung Galaxy S is connected, ID:COM will become yellow and COM port no. will appear. If it fails in detecting your Samsung Galaxy S try re-installing the USB drivers.
Now in Odin 3.07, click on PDA button & select the CF-Auto-Root-d2att-d2uc-samsungsghi747.tar.md5 file on your PC.
Just make sure that F.Reset Time and Auto Reboot are ticked in Odin. And also make sure that Re-partition is unticked in Odin.
Now just click on Start, and the installation will begin.
When the installation gets completed, your Samsung Galaxy S will get restarted by itself and you will get PASS message and green background on the top-left box in Odin.
Now you can unplug your Samsung Galaxy S from your PC and it will be rooted.
